1. Admission Fee Policy
Admission fees are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances.
This applies irrespective of course cancellation, withdrawal, deferment, disciplinary termination, or any personal reasons.
2. Refund Eligibility for Course Fees
Students may request a refund for course fees (excluding the admission fee) within 3 days of enrolment provided:
• The student has attended no more than 1 live classes (online or offline).
• The student has accessed less than 10% of the online course material.
After 3 days or after exceeding access limits, no refund requests will be entertained.
3. Non-Refundable Scenarios
• No refund if major classes or project work has been accessed.
• No refund if student voluntarily discontinues after cooling-off period.
• No refund if the student is terminated due to violation of the Code of Conduct (see Section 5).
• No refund in cases of absenteeism, lack of participation, or non-submission of assignments.
4. Special Circumstances
If a batch or course is cancelled by OctaLearn due to operational reasons, students will be eligible for:
• A full refund of the course fees only (admission fee remains non-refundable), or
• Option to transfer enrolment to the next available batch.
5. Code of Conduct and Refund Impact
Students must adhere to OctaLearn’s Code of Conduct.
Violation may lead to immediate termination without refund. Violations include:
• Misbehaviour towards faculty, staff, or peers.
• Use of unethical practices such as plagiarism, cheating, or unauthorized sharing of materials.
• Physical damage to OctaLearn property or facilities.
• Disruptive behaviour affecting classroom and learning environment.
OctaLearn’s decision in disciplinary cases will be final and binding.
6. Refund Process
Refund requests (for eligible cases) must be emailed to hey@octalearn.in within the stipulated time.
Requests must include:
• Full Name
• Enrollment ID
• Course Name
• Reason for Refund
• Payment Proof
Refunds, if approved, will be processed within 7–14 working days to the original mode of payment.
